While Tiger Woods is still waiting to surpass Jack Nicklaus in major wins, he has passed him in PGA tour wins. Woods finished the AT&T National 2-under 69 for his third win of the year. He was able to edge Bo Van Pelt by a stroke with a great performance on the back nine.

That win gives Tiger 74 career PGA tour wins, moving him ahead of Jack Nicklaus for second place all-time. Nicklaus ended his career with 73 career wins, and 18 major wins. Woods still sits four wins behind Nicklaus in majors, with 14.

Tiger is only 36 years old, and has a lot of golf to play. San Snead sits atop the PGA tour wins list with 82, but it's likely that Tiger will pass him in the coming years.
