It's been a while since we have been able to post anything that had 'Tiger Woods' and 'winner' in the same article, but finally we can put them together again.   Woods is the winner of his own tournament in Thousand Oaks, California.  He takes home the title at the Chevron World Challenge for the fifth time, and the first time since 2007.  He finished the 3 under par.

The win takes him from number 52 in the world rankings, to number 21.   Zach Johnson finished up in second place while Paul Casey ended the day in third.  It wasn't an official tournament, but it might be just what Tiger needed to get back in the game.  In an interview with ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd last week, Woods said he feels he is playing better and can hit the ball further.  We will have to see what happens.
