The idea of the New York Jets appearing on HBO's 'Hard Knocks' again is fantastic.  It would be like the Jersey Shore in shoulder pads.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson is open to the idea of his Jets taking part in HBO's 'Hard Knocks' again.  The Jets were featured in the 2010 edition of 'Hard Knocks.'  It makes a lot of sense to have the team featured again on the series.  I mean, come on, you've got the combustible Rex Ryan, the outspoken Santonio Holmes and Antonio Cromartie, the starting quarterback (Mark Sanchez) who is rumored to be linked to the smokin' Kate Upton, and the backup quarterback (Tim Tebow) who just happens to be the most popular player in the NFL.  The Jets are tailor-made for 'Hard Knocks.'

I think it makes sense for the Jets to get an introduction to the crazy media coverage that will be ratcheted up this season with the addition of Tim Tebow.  'Hard Knocks' documents an NFL team as they prepare for the upcoming season during training camp.  The Jets will be at SUNY Cortland again for training camp this summer.  The specific dates have not been announced yet, but camp will take place during July and August.

The defending champion New York Giants will return to the Capital Region this summer.  The Giants will be back at the University of Albany.  This is the final year in the Giants contract to hold training camp at UAlbany.   A potential new deal is expected to be discussed soon between UAlbany athletic director Lee McElroy and Giants CEO and co-owner John Mara.  The official dates of Giants training camp have not been announced yet either.
