There are so many debates and arguments that center around Tim Tebow's skill level.  There are plenty of disagreements about Tim Tebow's future with the Broncos and what he's done individually just 10 starts into his NFL career.  However, there is no denying how insanely popular Tim Tebow is.

Tim Tebow, somehow, is in the NFL MVP discussion this year.  Aaron Rodgers is having an all-time superb season while leading the Green Bay Packers to a perfect 12-0 record.  Only a player as popular as Tim Tebow could be mentioned alongside Rodgers.  I mean seriously, even Tom Brady and Drew Brees aren't mentioned as MVP candidates as much as Tim Tebow is.  They both have been much more productive than Tebow, yet Tebow's popularity gives him an edge.

There are pros and cons with Tebow's widespread popularity.   It's fantastic that Tebow is engaging and polarizing enough to spark opinions by many.  It's also painfully annoying when some fans exaggerate his skill level, production, and MVP candidacy because they are emotionally drawn to Tebow.  We can agree on this though; however you assess Tim Tebow's play to this point, there is no denying that he is ridiculously popular.  So popular, that he is the biggest thing going in sports right now.
