Have you heard about Linsanity? Yeah, well now if you’re a Time Warner Cable customer you’ll be able to watch it as well. The dispute between Time Warner Cable and the MSG Network has been resolved, according to a party near to Time Warner. The despute has left more than 2 million New York State residents without access to New York Knicks and Rangers game since the first of the year.

The settlement will be announced shortly by the two parties and by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who stepped in to mediate the negotiations within the past 24 hours. Prior to the Governor’s intervention, MSG owner James Dolan and TWC chairman Glenn Britt were hardly speaking and reportedly were far from reaching an agreement. Speculation is that the emergence of Jeremy Lin significantly increased pressure for the parties to reach a deal.  It has not yet been announced if, and how much, rates will be increased for Time Warner subscribers.
