The New York Giants beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl (again).  Tom Brady's legacy is permanently tarnished.

Whenever Tom Brady decides to retire, he'll have a great legacy.  The man has won three Super Bowls and has enjoyed plenty of individual success.  However, his legacy has been permanently affected by Eli Manning and the New York Giants.  Tom Brady and the Patriots have lost two Super Bowls to the same team led by the same quarterback.

Think of it this way; what would Tom Brady's legacy be if the Patriots finished the 2007 season a perfect 19-0 after beating the Giants in Super Bowl XLII?  What would Tom Brady's legacy be if the Patriots finished the 2011 season with another win against the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI (which would have been Brady's fifth championship)?  The guy would be the king of NFL royalty.  It's impossible to overlook that Brady's legacy has been altered by Eli and the G-Men.
