The New York Yankees lost yet another game to the hapless Baltimore Orioles. That means that the O's have now won five of the none head to head meetings with the Yankees this season. Making the Orioles just one of two teams holding a winning record over the Yankees this season...the other being the Texas Rangers(2-1 against the Yankees). With all of that being said, tonight IS NOT A MUST WIN!!!

I know that this is not what we want to see.

BUT it's just a game. There are 72 games left this season and the Yankees are not only going to add a pitcher but losing like this to the Orioles could light a fire under General Manager Brian Cashman to add Manny Machado as well. I know the Red Sox are playing lights out right now but we as Yankee Fans can't concern ourselves with that. Be realistic and be excited about this team that is getting better despite the loss to the O's. Just Look at Greg Bird!

Bird has raised his average 1 points in the last ten games and hit a home run while producing four RBI's last night. The main message here is relax. The American League East will be decided by head to head match ups with the Red Sox and the Yankees slumping and injured players like Gary Sanchez are getting better and returning and the trade deadline is approaching. This is a team on the rise.

Final thought, if Sonny Gray gets shelled again tonight HE not the Yankees will be in true jeopardy.
