Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway continued today with the running of the Gatorade Duels to determine the lineup for this Sunday's Daytona 500. Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle's #1 and #2 postitions were locked this past Sunday at qualifying.

Tony Stewart took the first race which means he will start third in the Great American Race.   Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished second and Marcos Ambrose was third.  Michael McDowell and Robby Gordon also finished in the top 5 and are now guaranteed a spot in the race since they weren't locked in at qualifying. Michael Waltrip was also not locked in to participate  but a crash ended his 25 year streak of running in the Daytona 500. Danica Patrick was also involved in a nasty crash in the final lap of the race, she is already locked in the race but will have to start in the back of the pack.
