For the second consecutive week it was racing under the lights as the Sprint Cup Series ran their second race of the season in Daytona. Tony Stewart would take the Checkered Flag for his third win of the season.

As usual with Daytona the race was not without incident.  Lap 91 saw an accident that involved Kurt Busch, Trevor Bayne, Bobby Labonte and a few others. Another wreck on Lap 125  would take out Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Regan Smith and a few others and then again another big wreck at Lap 152.

Matt Kenseth and Greg Biffle had the dominant cars throughout the race but would be tested by Stewart on the restart of the last caution and get some help Kasey Khane. Stewart would eventually break free of the pack for the win.  All heck  would break loose behind him coming off Turn 4 as the race would end with a huge accident involving Dale Earnhardt Jr., Biffle, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Terry Labonte, Aric Almirola, Jamie McMurray, Travis Kvapil and others.

Jeff Burton would take second place for his best finish of the season. Kenseth would take third followed by Joey Lagano and Ryan Newman.

The Sprint Cup Series will head to Loudon, New Hampshire next Sunday for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301. TV coverage will be on TNT starting at noon.
