Tony Stewart had his 2nd victory of the 2012 season in a race that was shortened by Mother Nature at the Auto Club Speedway in California on Sunday.

Kyle Busch dominated  a good portion of the first half leading 80 of the first 100 laps.  Tony Stewart though had an excellent car and took over the lead on lap 85. The Race saw no Yellow Flags up until lap 123 when some rain was spotted on turn 3, it was the longest stretch of Green Flag racing at the Auto Club Speedway in it's history. During that time, Jimmie Johnson would start smoking heavily as he somehow busted an oil line. The Yellow would turn to Red a few laps later  as the rain intensified and all cars were stopped on Pit Road at lap 129. The radar showed no window to get the race in so  Stewart was declared the race winner. Kyle Busch would come in 2nd followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards rounding out the top 5.  Johnson would get lucky with the decision as he would finish 10th.

Next week the Sprint Cup Series heads to Martinsville and back to short track racing  for the Goody's Fast Relief 500. Race Coverage starts at 12:30 on FOX.
