It was a battle meant to showcase high draft picks from a season ago, and it didn't disappoint.

Kristaps Porzingis was outplayed by Karl-Anthony Towns, but the Knicks beat the Timberwolves, 107-102.

KP went for just 11 points on 4-14 shooting. He contributed six rebounds. Towns went for 25 points and 10 rebounds, proving why he was the No. 1 overall pick.  But defensively, Towns and the Wolves interior defense was beat up by Robin Lopez, who scored a game-high 29 points for the Knicks.

With the win, the Knicks are now 12-14 while the Wolves go to 9-16 with the loss. The Knicks play the lowly Philadelphiaa 76ers tomorrow at 7 p.m. in Philadelphia.
