Tracy McGrady’s Chinese Beer Commercial [VIDEO]

Tracy McGrady is featured in a ridiculously bad beer commercial.  Judge for yourself, but I think this commercial is about as good as listening to Hope Solo talk.

If you asked me which NBA player is most likely to be featured in a Chinese beer commercial, I don't think that Tracy McGrady would be the first name that would jump into my head.  Tracy McGrady is no longer an NBA superstar.  His better years are behind him.  He's finishing up the tail end of his career with the Atlanta Hawks right now, but he is still an incredibly popular player in China.

The more I think about it, I can't say that it's a complete shock to see T-Mac in this ad.  I can say that this commercial is absolutely brutal though.  The whole mechanical-lift-hoop thing didn't work for me.  I don't think the hoop-lift angle was a genius idea or anything.  I actually think my "Epic Basketball Shot," which was taped in my 104.5 The Team office, would be just as good if I had a Xuejin beer in my hand.  That's how little I think of this McGrady commercial.
