The Holiday season gives us a chance to talk about athletes giving back. In this case, it's nice to talk about the New York Giants giving back something other than games...

Trevin Wade of the Giants was in the Capital Region on Tuesday night. He took 20 kids shopping to beneft "Big Brothers, Big Sisters."

And remember, Wade did all this just one day after the Giants Monday night win in Miami. So, that's a tough travel schedule for the defensive back out of Arizona.

But, it's great to see the dedication to helping people this time of year. It certainly seems as if those involved enjoyed the event and Wade's generosity.

The Giants take on the Panthers this week as they look to end Carolina's perfect season. There's plenty of time to talk about the G-Men's approach to Cam Newton and Co., but for now, just enjoy a good a deed around the Holidays.
