Tri-City Valleycats Push Win Streak To Nine

The Valleycats are starting their 2012 season the right way. They beat the Lowell Spinner 6-3 on Sunday to get their ninth win in a row.

Currently the Tri-City Valleycats are sitting at first place in their division, two and-a-half game sup on the Vermont Lake Monsters. Right now, it seems like all the Valleycats can do is win. Sunday’s 6-3 win over Lowell was their ninth in a row.

Four Valleycats had multiple hits in the game, while pitcher Jeremiah Meiners picked up the win. Blake Ford picks up the save, his fifth of the season. The Valleycats will continue in Lowell through Tuesday, before returning home for six games.
