The Troy Flying Horses won the state football championship yesterday in Syracuse over Lancaster 41-26. The victory for Troy marks the first time in the history of Section 2 that a high school has won back to back state football championships.

The historic accomplishments continue to roll in for the program as team member Joey Ward made multiple appearances on ESPN's Sportscenter top plays. The Sunday edition of the show had Ward's fourth-quarter run as the number one play of the night.

Earlier in the week, assistant head football coach Matt Marsh joined the Levack and Goz to preview the state championship game. What did you make of Ward's run and the Flying Horses winning another state title? Let us know below.
