Troy Polamalu Stars In Unique Head & Shoulders Ad [VIDEO]

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu is starring in a new Head & Shoulders commercial.  The ad also includes a very strange catch phrase.

"Deep Like Me."  Really?  That's what we're going with, Head & Shoulders?  Really?  This slogan isn't exactly going to replace "Just Do It" anytime soon.  I'm not expecting "Deep Like Me" to catch on like wild fire.  The concept of this commercial is awesome.  The catch phrase, however, leaves a LOT to be desired.

When you stop and think about it, Troy Polamalu is one of the most universally popular players in the NFL.  The key word in the last sentence is "universally."  Most of the league's most popular players have their fair share of detractors (Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Tim Tebow).  Troy Polamalu is one of the few players that are very popular without a good portion of detractors.
