Troy Wins On Court, But Loses Key Player To Injury
The Troy High boys basketball team got past Bethlehem, 54-44, in a Section II Class AA Tournament quarterfinal game Saturday at Hudson Valley Community College.
That's the good news.
Junior forward Javion Ogunyemi suffered an ankle injury with six minutes left in the second quarter and was forced to leave the game.
His Flying Horses teammates regrouped and had enough to advance in the tournament.
Trahmier Burrell paced Troy in the scoring department with 16 points.
