On Monday night, Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira and relief pitcher Dellin Betances were named to the American League All-Star Roster, while Mets starter Jacob deGrom was named to the National League squad.

Teixeira earns his third all-star game selection, and first since 2009, his first year in New York.

He's hitting .243 but boasts a stellar .356 on-base percentage while launching 20 home runs and providing the Yanks with 59 RBIs.

More importantly for Tex, he's remained healthy, playing in 76 games thus far for the Pinstripes.

Betances earns his second straight all-star game appearance after a dominant first half out of the Yanks 'pen.

He has a 1.50 ERA in 42 innings out of the bullpen. He's also added seven saves in the absence of Andrew Miller.

Brett Gardner of the Yankees is up for the "Final Fan Vote."

For the Mets, deGrom gets his first all-star appearance one year after winning the National League Rookie of the Year Award.

He's only 8-6 but has a great 2.30 ERA in front of the Mets anemic offense.

The all-star game is next Tuesday in Cincinnati.
