Tonight we get treated to one of the best matchups in Section II all season, as Guilderland travels to Shenendehowa to take on the Plainsmen (7 p.m. tip-off).

Both teams comes in undefeated (Shen: 12-0, Guilderland: 10-0) and each is ranked in New York State, with Shen checking in at No. 15 and Guilderland at No. 17.

About the Matchup: All you need to know is that this game features two of the area's best shooters in Guilderland's Andrew Platek and Shen's Kevin Huerter. Both juniors are receiving Division I interest and both can shoot from anywhere.

Platek will let it fly from anywhere on the court - and he will hit it. He's topped 30 or more points on four different occasions.

Huerter will pull up in transition, run off screens, and shoot from well behind the line as well. Both players rely on the jumpshot and if both players can get to the free throw line, they enhance their ability to score.

More:

Shen is the deeper team. They have 8-10 players who will play tonight and all are capable of scoring. Shen is bigger, but Guilderland has a toughness and scrappiness about them.

Question is, if Shen can limit Platek, where will the scoring come from for the Dutch?
