The UAlbany men's basketball team will revive its rivalry with Stony Brook Friday night on Long Island. The game will be featured on ESPN U. Game time is 9:00.

It will be the first meeting between the two teams since UAlbany beat the Seawolves in the America East Championship last March.

You remember that game, don't you? At SEFCU Arena, with time running down and the Danes trailing 50-48, Peter Hooley did this:

Fast forward to now: Both teams are having a great year again. UAlbany is 15-5 and Stony Brook is 14-4.

The Danes have arguably the best backcourt in the league with Evan Singletary, Hooley, Ray Sanders and Joe Cremo. The Seawolves are 14-4.

Stony Brook only lost to No. 17 Vanderbilt by seven points and lost to Notre Dame by 25 points.

UAlbany lost to Kentucky, who was ranked No. 1 when the two teams met on opening night.

It should be a great one.
