The UAlbany baseball team pulled off a big upset in the Elimination Round of the America East Tournament.

On Friday afternoon, the Great Danes upset regular-season champion and No. 1 seed Stony Brook, 4-1.

Right-hander Kasceim Graham threw a complete game.  The sophomore went all nine innings to improve to 4-2 on the mound this season.  He scattered six hits, struck out seven and walked two.

The Seawolves, who defeated UAlbany in last year’s championship, had won all five meetings this spring, including a 14-2 victory in the opening round of this double-elimination tournament on Wednesday.

The Great Danes will face Maine at 3:00 p.m. today.
