The UAlbany Great Danes men's lacrosse team rallied late to defeat the second ranked Maryland Terrapins this past Saturday, 11,10. The Great Danes outscored Maryland by five goals in the final minutes of the quarter of the match up to remain undefeated.

The road victory against the Terps in my opinion, is the most important victory in Albany Great Danes program history. The victory gained national recognition and places the Coach Scott Mar led team on pace to become the number overall seed for the NCAA tournament this spring. The Great Danes take the field again this Saturday at Casey Stadium. Faceoff is set for 3pm.
