UAlbany’s Bob Ford Field Has Turf Put Into Place [PHOTOS]

UAlbany football will have a new home starting this season, as they will begin playing in the brand new Bob Ford Field on the University campus. The stadium is beginning to take shape, and the school has released photos of the brand new turf the team will play on in the future.

As an alum of the University, I wholeheartedly approve. Man, does that stuff look cool. And, most importantly, it looks a million times better than the dead grass that was on the old field that my buddies and I used to play pickup games on all the time.

The Great Danes start their season on August 31 at Duquesne and their home opener at Bob Ford Field is on September 14 against Rhode Island.
