Burn the tape. Don't even show it to the players. That would be my recommendation to UAlbany head coach Will Brown if he asked. No reason to review the video after Vermont hit the Great Danes with a 70-45 destruction of the Great Danes in Burlington, Vermont on Saturday.

Only one Great Dane scored in double digits, that being Mike Black with 14 points. Other then that, well, there wasn't much more then that.

Vermont bolted out to a 35-19 half time lead and then it got worse in the second half. Trey Blue led the Catamounts with 15 points. The trio of Luke Apfeld, Sandro Carissimo, and Candon Rusin each scored 12 for the Catamounts.

The Catamounts opened that lead to 29 points in the second half and cruised to victory. Vermont, who improved to 2-0 in the America East, has now won 3 of their last 4 while the Danes watched their winning streak end at 3.

Previous to this setback UAlbany's worst loss was by 22 at Ohio State in the second game of the season. The Danes quickly bounced back from that by winning at Washington the next game. The game also dropped UAlbany out of first place as far as conference record goes. At 1-1 the Danes are a game behind Vermont, Hartford, and Maine.

The Great Danes finish up their two game road trip when they play in Binghamton on Monday night.
