UAlbany Star Peter Hooley Joins Us

Last night, the UAlbany basketball standout Peter Hooley accepted the Inspiration Award at the Coaches vs. Cancer Basket Ball in Troy.

Hooley was accepting the award of behalf of his mother Sue, who passed away in January after a battle with colon cancer.

We asked Hooley about his emotions last night as well as the support that head coach Will Brown and his wife have given him.

Furthermore, we asked Hooley if there was ever any truth to the rumors that he was thinking of not returning to UAlbany this season.

We then asked about the upcoming Danes' season and what Hooley expects from a team that returns four starters and several key contributors.

We then asked Hooley about Scotia star Joe Cremo, who will join UAlbany this season -- and we asked Hooley, who is a big cricket fan, if he's become a fan of baseball.

Lastly, we asked him about the experience of representing Australia at the World University Games this summer.
