Last year we saw the willingness of UAlbany head coach Will Brown to go out and challenge his Great Danes, as the Danes opened up the 2015-16 season on the road at No. 1 Kentucky.

Coming up in 2016-2017? More of the same...

Expect Duke to be loaded next season as well. With the return of Grayson Allen and Amile Jefferson and several top recruits coming in, Duke could be the No. 1 team in the preseason.

Well there's no timetable on the when the game will be played, I have to imagine that the game will be played early in the season, as opposed to later.

Expect UAlbany to compete in this game, because they always do, but the Danes will be younger and searching for an identity next season without Peter Hooley, Evan Singletary and Ray Sanders, who have all graduated out of the program.

Look for Mike Rowley, Dallas Ennema and Joe Cremo to lead the way.

These two teams met in the NCAA Tournament in 2013, with Duke winning 73-61.
