UAlbany Welcomes Colleen Mullen As New Women’s Basketball Coach

The University of Albany Great Danes have announced their 12th women's basketball coach in the history of the program. Colleen Mullen is bringing her talents to the SEFCU Arena. In a press release from earlier today the school welcomed Mullen who leaves Army West Point where she served as the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator from 2012 to 2018.

“Colleen stood out as the right fit to continue to escalate the championship culture of our women's program,” UAlbany Athletic Director Mark Benson said. “Throughout her career, she’s demonstrated a commitment to developing exemplary student-athletes. She is a leader whose values align perfectly with our mission to develop Great Leaders + Great Champions + Great Danes. We are thrilled to welcome Colleen and her family to UAlbany.”

Mark Benson has had the magic touch when making new hires at UAlbany, he and the school will officially welcome Mullen during a press conference Tuesday, May 15th at the SEFCU Arena.
