UAlbany’s Gary Johnson Throws Down Alley Oop In Big Purple Growl Game [VIDEO]

After a week that featured three straight losses and an appearance on SportsCenter’s Not Top Ten, the UAlbany Great Danes got back on track with a 79-46 win over Binghamton in Saturday’s Big Purple Growl. They also erased the memories of any bad plays with an amazing alley oop from DJ Evans to Gary Johnson.

Evans and Johnson, both junior college transfers, have not seen much playing time for the Great Danes, who will need both of them to step up in the place of Jacob Iati who is playing through an Achilles injury at the moment. If this play is any indication, they will fit in just fine with the UAlbany offense.
