UAlbany’s Puk Signed to British Basketball League
Former UAlbany Men's Basketball center Jon Puk has signed a contract with the Durham Wildcats of the British Basketball League, according to the team and a press release from the UAlbany athletic department.

Puk, who started 98 games in Purple and Yellow, is the program's Division I all-time leader in blocked shots. He helped lead the Danes to two consecutive NCAA tournaments, including this years tournament which included the Danes first ever tournament win in the NCAA "First Four" game.
He was named to the America East All-Defensive team as a senior.
Puk told the Wildcats, “I am very excited to play in the BBL as I have heard only good things about the league. It’s refreshing to start playing in a different competition and I can’t wait to get started with my new club.”
