UNC Gets Revenge On Duke To Capture ACC Title

The North Carolina Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils have one of the best rivalries in sports.  So it’s no surprise that after Duke beat them earlier this year, that North Carolina was looking for a little redemption.

Redemption is exactly what they got.  UNC beat Duke 88-70 after dominating the Blue Devils in the first half.  UNC had a 24 point lead going into the second, but Duke wasn’t going to give up with out a fight.  They did all they could, but weren’t able to over come that early deficit.

Kendall Marshall knocked down 20 points of North Carolina, while Tyler Zeller would add 19.  UNC was able to hold Austin Rivers to 15 points, and just 1-6 from three point range.  That win gives the Tar Heels the ACC title.
