Union Assistant AD Recalls Pat Summitt + More (AUDIO)

Yesterday was a tough day in the sports world, as we lost iconic figures Buddy Ryan and Pat Summitt.

Summitt was the face of women's basketball for years and led Tennessee to national prominence over the course of several decades.

Here locally, Union Assistant AD Eric McDowell had the chance to meet Summitt on more than one occasion. He joined us today to share those encounters and stories and talk about Summitt's impact on people on athletics.

Furthermore, we spoke about new women's hockey coach Josh Sciba who is looking to rebuild the Union program. We also talked about Jake Fishman, who was drafted in the Major League Draft and signed with the Toronto Blue Jays.

McDowell talked about the potential route for Fishman to Toronto and talked about the unique contract structure he was given.
