Union College senior wide receiver Justin Gallo has been named the Liberty League Co-Offensive Performer of the Week for his performance in Union's 41-34 win at Rochester on September 24. Gallo shares the honor with Hobart's Nick Strang.

Gallo caught 14 balls for 237 yards with three touchdowns against the Yellow Jackets. In that game, he broke the Union school record for career touchdown receptions previously held by Steve Angiletta '06. Gallo's four-yard touchdown catch from Connolly with 7:36 left in the third quarter gave him 23 to break the mark.

His 14 catches were a career best and are the second highest in school history, with a record of 19 held by George LaPorte '65. The 237 yard total ties for second most with Craig Carlson, who had 237 vs. Hobart in 1967.

Union hosts WPI Saturday at 1 p.m. at Frank Bailey Field. The game features "NCAA Take a Kid to the Game Day" with free admission for a child 12 and under with a paid adult admission.
