The Union men's ice hockey team moved up one spot to No. 11 in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll and remained at No. 11 in the latest poll, both released Monday. Union was ranked in the poll for the 56th consecutive week after earning a 3-1 win over Colgate on Friday, followed by a 4-4 tie against Cornell on Saturday night.

No. 11/11 Union (16-6-7, 10-3-4 ECAC Hockey) improved to 8-1-4 in its last 13 ECAC Hockey contests and opened up a three point lead in in the league standings over Cornell.

The Dutchmen have been ranked in the poll since the Dec. 7, 2009 rankings, extending a school record. Union has been ranked in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll in 16 out of a possible 18 weeks this season.

Union will hit the road this weekend to take on Dartmouth at Thompson Arena on Friday night in a contest that begins at 7:00 p.m.
