The Union men's ice hockey team moved up three spots to No. 11 in the USCHO.com poll and up one spot to No. 12 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll, both released Monday. Union was ranked in the USCHO.com poll for the 55th consecutive week after wins against Clarkson and St. Lawrence this past weekend.

No. 11/12 Union (15-6-6, 9-3-3 ECAC Hockey) improved to 7-1-3 in its last 11 ECAC Hockey contests and moved into sole possession of first place in the league standings with 21 points. The Dutchmen are two points ahead of No. 14/ 14 Cornell and four points ahead of No. 20/RV Colgate. Both teams will visit Messa Rink this weekend.

Union will take on Colgate on Friday night before squaring off against the Big Red on Saturday night, both games beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The Dutchmen have been ranked in the USCHO.com poll since the Dec. 7, 2009 rankings, extending a school record. Union has been ranked in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll in 15 out of a possible 17 weeks this season.
