The Union men's ice hockey team moved up to No. 12 in the latest and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Polls released Monday. Union was ranked in the poll for the 53rd consecutive week after wins against Harvard and Rensselaer this past weekend.

The Dutchmen won the program's first outdoor game in over 62 years with a 2-0 victory against Harvard at Fenway Park on Friday night. Union then came home to defeat Rensselaer 5-1 on Saturday night, earning a regular season sweep against the Engineers.

Union is one of three ECAC Hockey teams in the USCHO poll. Cornell (9th) and Colgate (18th) are the other ECAC Hockey teams ranked.

Union (12-5-6, 6-2-3 ECAC Hockey) earned a No. 12 ranking and 417 points in the poll and was also ranked No. 12 with 152 points in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.

The Dutchmen have been ranked in the poll since the Dec. 7, 2009 rankings, extending a school record. Union will continue ECAC Hockey play with two road games this weekend, beginning with a trip to Ingalls Rink on Friday night to face Yale at 7:00 p.m. in New Haven, CT.
