The ladies of the US team were very frustrated at the halfway point of their game with North Korea yesterday.  Shot after shot was blocked by the Korean goal keeper, but in the second half is where things really turned around for the US.

Lauren Cheney put a goal in with her head after four failed shots off of her foot.  That would put the US up 1-0, and then Rachel Butler would add a second goal to cement the United States win over North Korea.  Us goal keeper Hope Solo played great against a North Korean team that was relentless at times.

The US women will now face Columbia in their next match.  Columbia lost to Sweden 1-0 on Saturday.
