It looked like deja vu for the US Women today in Germany.  They were up on France by 1 goal when France tied things up, but in the 79th minute of play Abby Wambach once again came up huge with the go ahead score off of where else?  Her head.  This was a hug momentum boost for team USA who has been a huge force in this years World Cup.

That goal is Abby Wambach's third of this tournament and we're beginning to think she thrives off of the pressure.  Another goal would be added a few minutes later by Alex Morgan to really put the match out of reach for France.  Team USA awaits the winner of Japan and Sweden for the final on Sunday. Team USA has not made the finals since 1999.

World cup action continues on ESPN this afternoon.
