The USA team went to Australia looking for another Presidents Cup win, and they get it thanks to a big performance by Tiger Woods on the last day.

Tiger Woods started out the Presidents Cup not so good.  On the first day him and Steve Stricker were nothing short of embarrassing , which must have left team captain Fred Couples wondering why he selected Tiger in the first place.  It paid off as Tiger had a great last day and beat out Aaron Baddeley 4-3.

I was hoping it wasn't going to come down to us. I was hoping that Stricks and I could take a victory lap back here. But we didn't get off to a good start early.

According to ESPN, Couples stood by his decision to add Woods to the USA team and said that Tiger was ready to go for a month.  Couples would also add that Woods could also now celebrate.  Many were outspoken against the decision to put Woods on the team including international captain Greg Norman.  Turns out that move paid off.
