Venus Williams to Speak at UAlbany

UAlbany will welcome tennis star Venus Williams to campus on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 5:30 PM part of the "Speaker Series."

Williams has quite a resume on the tennis court, becoming one of the most recognizable and successful female athletes in the last 20 years.

According to her official website, she has 43 career singles titles, 19 doubles titles, and four Olympic gold medals.

She's won Wimbeldon five times on the singles side. She also captured the 2000 gold medal. She also has three Olympic golds in doubles with her sister Serena.
