Rome has fallen. After one of the most dominating runs in the history of college football the Alabama Crimson Tide were upset Monday night by Clemson 35-31 in a rematch of the title game from a year ago. The Tide were on the brink of winning an unprecedented fifth national championship in the last eight seasons, and would have done so were it not for the heroics of Tigers quarterback Deshaun Watson in the closing seconds of the instant classic.
