It wasn't pretty. It wasn't always easy to watch. It was certainly cold.

But at the end of the day, it was a win for the Seattle Seahawks, who went into Minnesota and beat the Vikings, 10-9, in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

Walsh's missed kick kept the Seahawks dream of making a third straight Super Bowl a reality.

When the game kicked off, it was the third coldest game in NFL history, with a temperature of -6 degrees.

Russell Wilson was 13-26 for 142 yards and one touchdown in the win. Doug Baldwin led the Seahawks with five catches for 42 yards and a score.

The Seahawks held Adrian Peterson to just 45 yards on 23 carries in the win.

With the win, the Seahawks are now 10-6. They will head to Carolina next week for a meeting with the top-seeded Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers beat the Seahawks earlier this season.
