A fun street fest I always go to in Troy.

When it comes to crime in the Capital Region, take a walk in Troy at night and see for yourself.

Troy ranks second behind Schenectady for violent crime. Not too long ago, there was a hold up in the parking lot of a favorite local restaurant that might have caused it to close down. In 2014, car thefts were off the chart -- going from 87 in the previous year to 130! According to the Times Union, thefts dropped dramatically when police arrested the man, but a judge dismissed the charges and he is back on the streets.

WHAT!!!!

I love the city and often go to the street festivals, but will only walk at night if i'm packing and I'm not talking about luggage.

Note to self…NEVER leave anything you care about in the car when going to any of the fine bars and restaurants in Troy.
