The New York Knicks did exactly what they wanted to against the Golden State Warriors, and that's to shut MVP Steph Curry down. Unfortunately; the Knicks couldn't shutdown Klay Thompson or Draymond Green who messed around and had a triple-double(20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists)  in the Knicks 116-95 loss.

The New York Knicks need to come out of this loss realizing that they are farther away than the players think. Arron Afflalo coming out and saying that they're a playoff team is nice and all, but if you want to make those comments, you need to show up to the big games. Arron Afflalo was especially bad shooting 2-for-12 with five points.Since those comments about the playoffs Afflalo has been awful. In his last six games, he has made just 25 of his 78 attempts. “I don’t know. I’m not an excuse-maker,” Afflalo said. “Whether it’s my shot, my body, my energy level. Whatever it was, it wasn’t there. I will bounce back.”

The Knicks, have been the epitome of up and down this season. Right now the team is in the midst of  the down part of its season, as they have lost five of their last six. They will take on divisional opponents Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.
