Beating the Denver Nuggets 118-105 wasn't just any ordinary win for the Golden State Warriors. They achieved something only two other teams in NBA history has ever accomplished.

The Warriors became only the third team in NBA history to start a season 15-0; the others being the 1948-49 Washington Capitols and the 1993-94 Houston Rockets. Considering their next opponent is the Los Angeles Lakers, they will most likely be the first team to start 16-0 in a season. This has everyone thinking, 'best team ever?'

Well, they just might be. To say that the Chicago Bulls record 72 wins in a season is in question is a complete understatement. Their next five opponents aren't the scariest either as they face the Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz, and Charlotte Hornets; not exactly the toughest schedule. When looking ahead, the next opponent that seems to oppose a threat is the Cleveland Cavaliers...on Christmas day. Essentially saying that the Warriors will start the season 28-0 before their potential first loss. Could they lose before then, absolutely, but they are showing no sign of weakness at all.

The Warriors are first in the NBA in both points per game and assists per game and are led by reigning MVP and scoring leader Stephan Curry who is playing out of his mind at the moment. Should the Warriors maintain this type of play throughout the rest of the season, there is no doubt that they will beat the Bulls historic record. Lets remind you that they are also doing this with interim head coach Luke Walton. Yeah, 'Deadhead' Bill's son.

Golden State seems to have the mindset of chasing history and when they get their head coach Steve Kerr back, they could be even better.
