Mariano Rivera is one of the most decorated athletes in the history of baseball.  The man just recorded his 600th career save.  He has a 0.99 postseason ERA in seven World Series appearances.  He has a career 0.71 postseason ERA.  The man is basically ridiculous.

Mariano Rivera is one of the rare athletes who most people always expect greatness from.  Whenever Mo falters, it's a huge surprise because he has been so consistently dominant throughout his career.  There are not many other athletes in sports that you can say the same thing about.  Sure, there are a few, but the list may be a lot shorter than you originally think it is.
