Pac-12 football is keeping me up too late after a long day of work on Saturday and it's going to happen to me again this weekend, I can already feel it.

Herm Edwards at Arizona State and the early success the Sun Devils are having is what keeps capturing my attention when I get home from NewsChannel 13 shortly after midnight. They got tripped up last week at San Diego State and it'll be a tall order at 10th ranked Washington this Saturday, but I'll be watching.

One national game that's flying a little under the radar for me is TCU at Texas. The Longhorns have put together back to back wins for what was becoming a desperate Tom Herman and the Horned Frogs will look to bounce back from a disappointing second half against Ohio State.

Regionally, we aren't talking enough about Syracuse's 3-0 start and another good opportunity at a win in front of the Orange this week against UConn. Even with starting quarterback Eric Dungey banged up in the win over Florida State, Syracuse did something it hadn't done in 52 years; beat the Seminoles. The game with the Huskies sets up as something of a trap game with a trip to Clemson to look forward to in a week.
