The Mets are preparing for game two of the NLCS on Sunday night and Buster Olney says that it's still clear as to why the Amazin's have made it to this point:

"What distinguishes them is the depth of their rotation," said Olney, to "Armen and Levack", Friday on 104.5 The Team. "Even though they went 0-7 against the Cubs this year, they’re a better matchup for the Cubs than the Dodgers would have been.

"Shoot, the Giants last year had Madison Bumgarner throwing 90 percent of their innings and the Mets can roll-out four high-end starters.

"Now as time has gone on, and this happens every October, some guys slide into deep slumps and you have no idea if they’re going to get out of it. That’s where we kind of are with Lucas Duda. It might be where we are with a couple other guys. We are still waiting for Wilmer Flores to really step out, but when you have pitching like that, your margin of error is so good, that you can get back with an offense that isn’t spectacular."

Game two of the NLCS is at 8:07p ET Sunday night on 104.5 The Team.

ESPN's Buster Olney joins "Armen and Levack" every Thursday at 5:15p ET, sponsored by All Star Wine and Spirits, on 104.5 The Team.
