What QB’s Stood Out To Bruce Gradkowski This Weekend? [AUDIO]

We met former NFL quarterback Bruce Gradkowski in Minnesota covering Super Bowl 52. Luckily we left a good impression on the 11 year NFL veteran and he answered when we called to discuss his thought on the first Sunday of the NFL season. There were two quarterbacks that stole the show for Gradkowski...that is until one stole the show from them and everyone else.

The first two signal callers that caught Bruce Gradkowski's eye were Patrick Maholmes in Kansas City and Ryan Fitzpatrick in Tampa Bay. Maholmes is a young guy that to quote Gradkowski "Slings it" meaning he's not afraid to throw the ball and makes big plays with his arm. Then Fitzpatrick, who wouldn't be starting if Jameis Winston wasn't currently suspended and Fitzpatrick LIT UP the New Orleans Saints. All of that and Gradkowski's thoughts on Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders as well as Sam Darnold and the New York Jets.
