Where to Watch Fireworks This Summer

Everyone knows about the huge fireworks show at the Empire State plaza but where else can you watch fireworks? Well, since you asked, here is a list of all the fireworks shows locally…

1-Tri-City Valleycats: Wed, June 29 after the game and July 4
2-Freedom Park Summer Concert Series: Friday, July 1
3-The Great Escape: July 4
4-Amsterdam Mohawks vs. Adirondack Trailblazers Game: Sunday, July 3
5-Clifton Park Commons, Clifton Park: Monday July 4
6-Empire State Plaza: Monday July 4
7-Schenectady County Summernight
8-9th Annual Troy Pigout

Also, as you may have noticed, Walmart and other big stores are selling fireworks and there are keystone fireworks roadside stands in several locations including East Greenbush near the Joe.

I like doing my own so I will be setting off fireworks somewhere near LaSalle-just look for the huge display in a spot I'm not suppose to be in. Get there early (look for the boom in the sky) before I get arrested by the East Greenbush cops! Kidding!
