With the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat advancing to the NBA Finals, we are now set up with a matchup for the ages to decide who gets to take home the Larry O'Brien Trophy.  But who do you think will win the series and claim this year's championship?

On the one hand, the Heat will be considered the favorites to lift the trophy, and for good reason. First of all, they have recent championship experience with this being their third consecutive appearance in the NBA Finals. They have tasted success at this level far more recently than the Spurs and have a roster that can blow away anyone on the court at any given time, as we saw in last night's Game Seven win over the Indiana Pacers.

Also in the Heat's favor: that LeBron James guy is pretty good at this game.

San Antonio has a decided advantage in the depth department, with their bench guys being far more able to step up and take the scoring load off of the shoulders of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker. They will also somehow have an advantage over the Heat on the interior, as guys like Tiago Splitter can, as sad as this sounds, destroy Udonis Haslem and Joel Anthony in the paint.

The Spurs also have the best point guard on the planet in Tony Parker, someone who can score at will without compromising his ability to make his teammates better in any way, and a guy that never affects the chemistry of his team, without any of the rumblings that he does just that like what you hear about Clippers point guard Chris Paul.

So who will win this year's NBA Finals? Take our poll below and let us know what you think.
